KRX has announced that futures market trading via CME night session will be discontinued from 18th December 2020.
USD/KRW and KOSPI200 Futures trading was possible even after the market hours through the overnight session via CME(Chicago Mercantile Exchange).
However KOSPI200 Futures trading was already suspended since 7th April 2020 due to Samsung Electronics (005930.KS) taking up more than 30% weight of the KOSPI200 index which may lead to regulations by CFTC (Commodity Futures Trading Commission) and SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission).

Meanwhile USD/KRX Futures trading was still available, KRX has decided to close down the entire session since the overnight trading rate was just about 1.4% of the regular market.
KRX will continue to provide the overnight trading for both USD/KRW and KOSPI200 Futures through the current EUREX linkage within 2021 Q1 tentatively.
Eurex linkage is available for KOSPI200 Options and Mini-KOSPI200 Futures during the overnight session.
Overnight trading hours via Eurex is between 18:00 KST ~ 05:00 KST(the next day)
