Korea Exchange has announced temporary closing of market on Wednesday 15th April, 2020
since it is National Assembly Election day which is designated as a national holiday.
Market closure is applicable for all the products listed in Korea Exchange.
Securities - KOSPI, KOSDAQ, KONEX
Derivatives - All Futures, Options and other derived products including the night session for CME and Eurex.
Commoditites - Gold, Petrol and etc.
2020 South Korean legislative election will held on the day to elect all 300 members of the National Assembly.
All South Korean citizens above age 18 on the day are eligible to vote and will be required to bring their
identity card.
I, personally will also be participating on the voting.
Since there are more than 10 parties to choose from, it is rather confusing which one represents which side of the politics.
As a citizen of South Korea, please kindly do go and vote.
Single vote counts and will make a difference.
